Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) & SAP Business Network

To improve our current supplier management system, we are implementing SLM on the SAP Business Network to streamline our supplier onboarding and registration processes.

SLM will allow: 

  • Creation of an Ariba account on the SAP Business Network
  • Electronic onboarding and registration of new suppliers via the SAP Business Network
  • Ability for you to self-manage your organisation’s registration details include bank account information using the Ariba online portal.
  • The ability to be sent modular questionnaires to allow us to collect additional information about your organisation such as modern slavery and ESG

 

To improve our internal control processes at Yancoal with respect to supplier payments we have engaged Eftsure™ to provide third party payment verification services. 

Eftsure provides a service to ensure that payments are made to the intended recipients because banks ignore account names when processing payments. 

Going forward, Yancoal requires that all suppliers register and verify their bank account information with Eftsure.

You will be receiving an email request from us originating from Yancoal requesting you to verify your details. We request that you please action this email promptly to ensure that there are no delays in payment.

Registration & account setup

How do I register as a new supplier on Ariba?

You will receive an email invitation from YanCoal. Follow the link provided in the email to the Ariba Network registration page. Complete the required fields, create a username and password, and submit your registration.  Standard Account is the minimum requirement.

What should I do if I did not receive a registration email?

Check your spam or junk email folder for the invitation. If you still can't find the email, contact Yancoal’s procurement team at sap.vendormaintenance@yancoal.com.au for assistance.

Can I register multiple users for my company?

Yes, multiple users can be registered under a single supplier account. Each user should have a unique email address. The primary contact can add and manage users through the account settings.

How can I update my profile information?

Log in to your Ariba Network account, go to the Company Profile section, and click on Edit. You can update your contact information, company details, products, and services offered. Make sure to save changes before exiting.

Can I upload documents to my profile?

Yes, you can upload documents such as certificates, licenses, and company policies. Go to the Company Profile section, navigate to the Documents tab, and use the Upload button to add files.
