Yancoal Code of Conduct
The Yancoal Code of Conduct (The Code) sets out the basic rules on how we work with each other, how we interact with others outside the Company and how we make decisions in the way we conduct our business.
The Code applies to all business activities in Australia and overseas, including dealings with directors, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, consultants, agents, advisors and representatives engaged by Yancoal and its related companies. It is a common reference point for anyone who is unclear about what is expected of them in certain situations.

Supplier Enquiries
Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) & SAP Business Network
To improve our current supplier management system, we are implementing SLM on the SAP Business Network to streamline our supplier onboarding and registration processes.
SLM will allow:
• Creation of a Ariba account on the SAP Business Network
• Electronic onboarding and registration of new suppliers via the SAP Business Network
• Ability for you to self-manage your organisation’s registration details include bank account information using the Ariba online portal
• The ability to be sent modular questionnaires to allow us to collect additional information about your organisation such as modern slavery and ESG

Eftsure™ – Bank Account Verification
To improve our internal control processes at Yancoal with respect to supplier payments we have engaged Eftsure™ to provide third party payment verification services.
Eftsure provides a service to ensure that payments are made to the intended recipients because banks ignore account names when processing payments. Going forward we will require all suppliers to have registered and verified their bank account information with Eftsure.
You will be receiving an email request from us originating from Yancoal requesting you to verify your details. We request that you please action this email promptly to ensure that there are no delays in payment.
